What Does a Pregnancy Care Center Do?

There’s a lot of information out there about crisis pregnancy centers and pregnancy care centers, but unfortunately, not all of that information is accurate. We’d like to tell you a little bit about the services pregnancy centers can offer and clear some things up!

It’s important to us to empower mothers and families with the information they need to make decisions about their pregnancies. You deserve complete and accurate information about the choices you’re facing before you’re thrown into the middle of them. Some organizations claiming to educate clients on women’s health don’t actually give a full picture of what that looks like or how women can approach their situations, especially concerning pregnancy. Because we know that it can be difficult to find accurate information about these topics, we utilize an educational service called BrightCourse to help women understand what’s happening with their pregnancies, what goes on during and after birth, parenting, and more. Plus, by completing these lessons, Choices’ clients can earn items for themselves and their babies through our Earn-While-You-Learn program! 

We can’t speak for all pregnancy centers, but here at Choices, we have a range of services available to our clients to ensure they get the best care possible! For instance, we are able to offer nurse-read pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, pregnancy education, birthing classes, and coaching concerning a client’s (or clients’) pregnancy and parenting options, as well as coaching in our post-abortive recovery program. We also offer STD testing, resource referrals, and the aforementioned resource-earning program for clients and their families. All of our services are completely confidential, and our staff are HIPAA-certified!

Eligibility for specific services will differ between clients, but Choices has an equal attitude of care towards everyone who walks through our doors.
